AEP MP2x8i NMEA Buffer
Type approved NMEA Buffer
Complies with IMO and IEC Regulations
The AEP MP2x8i NMEA Buffer isolates and buffers NMEA 0183 data or other RS422 signals. It is able to distribute the NMEA signal from two Talkers up to eight Listeners. As the (power) input and output ports are isolated the device ensures the protection of the Talkers and Listeners.
The AEP MP2x8i NMEA Buffer features two operating modes; auto-switching mode and dual mode. In auto-switching mode you are able to connect two independent Talkers and distribute the signal to eight Listeners. In dual mode the buffer can be used as two independent buffers with one input and four outputs.
Key Features
Type Approved NMEA Buffer
By combining the wishes of both technicians and clients we developed a user-friendly and reliable NMEA Buffer.
The AEP MP2x8i NMEA Buffer has been designed to distribute NMEA-0183 or other RS422 signals from one transmitter up to 8 listeners. In dual buffer mode it can even operate as two independent buffers with 1 input and 4 outputs.
